CARES delivered a presentation at the first joint event of the CIHT Qatar Group and ICE Qatar

CARES has delivered a presentation in Doha, Qatar on ‘Sustainable Sourcing of Construction Steel’ at the first joint event of the Chartered Institution of Highways & Transportation (CIHT) Qatar Group and Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE) Qatar on 8th May 2018.

 Senior figures in the Qatar construction sector attended the event and learned how CARES' certification covers all stages in the supply chain from the processing of raw materials, manufacturing of constructional steel and construction products through to the product installation, or delivery to the customers. 

CARES’s services assure product quality; control its safety hazards; seeks to minimise its environmental impacts and reports its environmental credentials via the CARES product certification scheme, sustainability scheme and Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) programme; this approach helps in achieving the goals of Qatar National Vision 2030.
