Ben Bowsher Tribute

I am writing to update you with details regarding the arrangements to celebrate the life of our former CEO Ben Bowsher. 

Firstly, I wanted to pass on the thanks to you all from Ben’s wife Kate for the kind words and thoughts many of you have shared with the family since the sad news of his death earlier this month.

The family have now advised me that A Tribute to the Life of Ben Bowsher will take place at 2pm on Tuesday 5 June at Swallows Oast, Ticehurst. This will be a non-religious event, and represents an opportunity for all of us who were fortunate to work with Ben during his long and distinguished career with CARES to pay our personal tribute to Ben and his life’s work. 

Kate has also kindly advised me that at the end of the ceremony there will be an opportunity for people to say a few words about Ben which will be welcomed by the family. A memory table will be on display on the day and I know many of you will wish to share items or articles that reflect his time with us.

In order to assist with the arrangements and planning refreshments, it would be most helpful if you advise Michelle please of whether you expect to be able to attend, and also to liaise with Michelle regarding any CARES-related materials we will be displaying on the memory table. 

Finally, I am advised that the dress code on the day will be informal/smart casual. Thank you.
