CARES achieves Saudi Standards approval 

CARES achieves conformity assessment body approval by the Saudi Standards, Metrology, and Quality Organization (SASO) to provide product conformity assessment in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. CARES notification number is P-CB 0651 and the scope of approval is for Technical Regulation for Building Materials - Part 1: Metal and Alloy Sectors for Constructions and Buildings.

SASO is a technical government body in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and governs tasks related to standards, metrology, and quality.  

This significant achievement recognises the importance of CARES assured steel certification for metals and alloys sectors manufacturing product for use in constructions and buildings in the KSA. It also supports the recognition of CARES assured steel being specified and used within major construction projects such as NEOM. Furthermore, conformity assessment certificates issued by CARES for imported construction materials will be registered on SASO’s Saber electronic platform to provide beneficiaries with the required assurance that product conforms to the relevant Saudi Standards and specifications before entering the Saudi market.
